Detail Ordering Requirements

1. High-Traffic / Major Roads
   Any detail ordered on the following roads requires a minimum of 2 detail officers:
• High St
• Gay St
• Oak St
• Washington St
• Clapboardtree St
• Hartford St
• Nahatan St
• Canton St
• Dover Rd
• East St
• UD
2. Road Closures with Detours
   Any detail involving a road closure that requires a detour requires a minimum of 3 officers:
• One officer at each end of the closure
• One officer positioned with the work crew

Example: Closing Thatcher St would require 3 officers.

1. Extended Work Zones
   Any detail where the work zone extends more than two telephone poles in length requires a minimum of 2 officers.
2. Open Road Excavations
   Any detail involving a hole open in the roadway for more than 3 hours requires a minimum of 2 officers.
