The Westwood Police Department has a number of Officers trained in the inspection of car seat installations. Please call the front desk at 781.320.1000 prior to coming in to make sure a technician is available. We can often accommodate inspections on relatively short notice.

The officers who are currently car seat technicians are:

The child safety seats should be installed prior to coming to the police station. The officer's objective is to insure the car seats are safely and properly installed, and to make sure that the owner knows how to properly install or move the seat to another vehicle.

Please make sure your vehicle is clean inside, and free of debris.
