If you or someone you know is the victim of domestic violence and is in need of services, the Westwood Police Department is here to assist.

Detective Prosecutor Kindia Roman is the Westwood Police Department victim-witness point of contact.  She is available 24/7 to assist those in need of services. To reach Detective Roman, please call the Communications Center at 781-320-1000.  In the event Detective Roman is unavailable, it is recommended that those looking for assistance reach out to an advocate through the Domestic Violence Ended (DOVE.)

DOVE was established in 1978, and is based in Norfolk County.  DOVE is a charitable nonprofit organization that provides services and support for victims of dating and domestic violence, as well as their children.  Some of the services they provide include a 24-hour crisis hotline, emergency shelter, support, and counseling services.  DOVE assists individuals at all different places in the process to include exploring options in the community, pursuing legal remedies or assistance in leaving an abusive relationship.
